Have to do homework to be a mum

Recently, Zoe develops some rules and one of them is :mum has to read all stories in Mandarin. Even though some (actually probably I should say " most") of the time, I come cross some words I have no confidence on how to pronounce them, just reading what are written on the books is still a easier task for me. Now she wants me to read them in Mandarin version, it is like asking me to do an immediate translation and therefore, I have to read some of the books before I change them to Mandarin versions for her.
