Regarding punishment, Zoe knows when she does something wrong. It is evident from her tricky face before she starts some behaviours she knows she should not do. At this age, just start learning about "self", it must be very hard for her to understand why she can't have all the toys (because all the toys should just belong to her), but she does know that grabbing toys from others is not an apporpriate action.
Today we went to the park we usually go, only another little boy was playing there who is 21 months old, similar to Zoe's age. A good playmate, I thought. Zoe did try to track the boy, always played nearby. However, I bought a ball, only one ball. Since both of them are at the age of learning "ME", they both think the ball is theirs. At the end, no matter how hard we tried ( me and the boy's mum), they both were crying for the ball. Then, the boy's mum decided to take him home in case more fighting occurs.

As for the coming one, I guess Zoe hasn't felt its threat to her status yet. Maybe after the second baby is born, Zoe will become even more naughty...@_@

As to the coming baby, it will be a complicated feeling with Zoe. Maybe she will become a kind elder sister , or she will become too naughty (since she think the baby threat to her at that time; so as parents will pay attention on it.)
