We had a busy week last week. Zoe started her "school" for three days and Wayne had his birthday and, and we bought a second car!
First day of Zoe's school day, we arrived at 7:30 and then Wayne left for work, I stayed with her until 10:00. Zoe was a bit anxious in the beginning and tried to get away from another little girl who pushed Zoe quite often. Then she seemed feel more comfortable exploring the environment and even tried to fight with another 15 month-old boy, Jack, whose mother I get along quite well later on. When I went back to the daycare to pick her up around 1:30pm. Zoe always kicked her shoes off, one hand holding a doll dog and sucking the other hand's thumb while trying to crawl around. As soon as she saw me, she bursted out into crying and then stopped.
The second day, when we arrived she knew what would happen and she monitored me all the time. Wen I went back to the day care around 2:30
she was asleep in a rocker holding the doll dog with her. She seemed to be much comfortable staying there.
The third day, less babies in this day ( only five, other days are about 11 babies). A little boy likes to be with Zoe, I think his name is Issac. He must feel that Zoe is quite similar to him except she has not leant how to walk yet. Zoe doesn't like sitting on the dinning chair and likes touching others. Issac even helped Zoe to put on her hat! (Of course, he couldn't really put her hat on, he just tried to throw the hat on Zoe's head). The other reason that Issac tried to be with Zoe all the time was because Zoe was the only one in similar age at that early moment (only three babies came in before 9am). When we went back to pick her up at 4pm, she acturally played with Sophie in a playhouse at the outdoors!
Sat she seemed still expect to go to school and felt a bit restless at home. I got Wayne to take her to a park near Sydney university to feed the ducks.
Sunday, we went to Coogee. This is the first time we went to a real beach where you can swim. But we went there not for swimming but for looking at a car. Both of us are not good shoppers, also it was a bit difficult to shop around with Zoe, so when we saw the person who seems trustworthy, we decided buying the car on the spot.
