Zoe had her first tooth quite early and now she has 16 teeth and brushing her teeth is a very important job. I can't imagine she as a toddler to see a dentist. Initially she won't open her mouth, and then she at times cooperated at times not, now Wayne found a new method and it seems works everytime unless Zoe is far too tired.
Wayne has to sing songs when he brushes Zoe's teeth. I peeked once (because if I was there with them, Zoe would react differently). Zoe looked like in a trance starring at Wayne's month while her mouth widely open. I guess she is reading Wayne's lips, and that is only reason I can explain why this method works so well so far.
